Download Instructions/Help: Apple Gatekeeper

Gatekeeper Issues

If GateKeeper warns it is 'unable to check for malicious software', go to 'System Settings -> Security -> General' and add an exception to allow it to "open anyway" (see Apple site for more info).

If you get a message that the App is "damaged", then first try re-download the file (clearing your browser cache if possible). If it still says that, then try either:
* Run Terminal, and enter: xattr -cr /path/to/TheApplication.app
* or, also in Terminal: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /path/to/TheApplication.app
* and/or try rebooting or clearing your cache and re-downloading the DMG.

Contact us if that still doesn't work.

Two Download Options: Intel and Apple Chip (arm64 / M1 / M2 etc.)

For Macs, we have 2 download options, depending on your Mac. In general, if you have an Intel-based Mac you should use the Intel download. If you have a Mac with an Apple chip (M1/M2 etc., also known as arm64), please use the other download option - the Apple Chip build is targeted for the Apple M1/M2 etc., so should not need Apple Rosetta, allowing you to get the most performance-wise from your Apple Chip.

If you are not sure what type of Mac you have, click the Apple logo menu and select "About This Mac", and check the "Chip" or macOS version.

To install, double-click the DMG package, and drag the application icons onto the Applications folder.
