News: Version 2023 available with OpenAI GPT/AI integration. Also supports new Macs running on Apple chips.
Version 15 (v2023+) Windows:
This single installer installs both 64-bit and 32-bit versions together, and adds extra shortcuts in the Windows Start menu labelled "64-bit" if you want to run 64-bit versions (otherwise by default it runs the 32-bit version). The 32-bit and 64-bit versions are fully compatible with each other (the 64-bit version just allows loading of massive datasets). You can use "Help/About" to see which version you are using.
In general, it is also usually fine to install an older version over a newer version in case you need to revert to an older version.
If SmartScreen pops up with a message about "protecting your PC", click "More Info", then click "Run Anyway" - this is a false alarm from Microsoft SmartScreen. Also please select "Report as Safe" if you see such an option.
Version 15 (v2023+) Apple macOS
▶ We have 2 download options, depending on your Mac. In general, if you have an Intel-based Mac you should use the Intel download. If you have a Mac with an Apple chip (M1/M2 etc., also known as arm64), please use the other download option - the Apple Chip build is targeted for the Apple M1/M2 etc., so should not need Apple Rosetta, allowing you to get the most performance-wise from your Apple Chip.
If you are not sure what type of Mac you have, click the Apple logo menu and select "About This Mac", and check the "Chip" or macOS version.
To install, double-click the DMG package, and drag the application icons onto the Applications folder.
▶ If GateKeeper warns it is 'unable to check for malicious software', go to 'System Settings -> Security -> General' and add an exception to allow it to "open anyway" (see this article for more info - also if you get a message saying the App is "damaged")
Version 14 (up to version 2022) Below:

Legacy download for old 32-bit Intel-based Apple Macs - do not use for new projects
Important: Please note for 32-bit macOS, our final release will be version 2019 - you can still use it on 32-bit-compatible macOS systems, but new features and updates will only be in our new 64-bit (Catalina-ready) releases.

Re-activation is not usually required when updating. NB: If the software will be used by multiple Windows users on the same computer, you may need administrator rights at time of activation.
