TshwaneLex Suite Download

Please read these instructions carefully.

Click on the following link to download TshwaneLex Suite 3.0:

TLex_Suite_3.0.11.48.exe (11MB)

To save the file to your hard disk, click on the link with the right mouse button and select "Save Target As". Once you have downloaded the file, run it (e.g. by double-clicking on it) to install the TshwaneLex Suite.

NB: You need administrator rights on the system when installing or upgrading the TshwaneLex Suite and when activating.

Activation

Please note that you must install the TshwaneLex Suite on the computer on which you wish to run it. When you first run TshwaneLex or TshwaneTerm, a unique product key will be generated for activating the software on that computer. Send this product key by clicking on 'Get Activation Code Online' and filling in the form. If you have a 9-digit License Number, you will be able to get your 16-digit activation code immediately. Otherwise, we will e-mail you your activation code within 24 hours.

NB: You need administrator rights on the system when applying the activation code.

If you already have a version of TshwaneLex Suite 3.0 installed ...

First uninstall the existing version via "Start/Programs/TshwaneLex 3/Uninstall". Note that if you have existing databases created with TshwaneLex or TshwaneTerm, they will not be removed while upgrading. Nonetheless it is very strongly recommended that you make backups of your data, including onto a different computer, as a general principle.

(Note that if you are currently on version 3.0.1 or later, manual uninstallation of the older version should no longer be necessary - the installer should uninstall the older version for you during the install process.)

DO NOT delete the existing application folder (e.g. under "Program Files") of the previous version.

Re-activation is not required when upgrading (unless upgrading between major versions, e.g. version 3 to version 4).
