Possible Solution(s)


When editing stand-alone document files, this can be caused by having the same document open more than once in multiple instances of the application at the same time. Solution: Close the second one.

It can also happen if the file or disk is read-only or you do not have 'write' permissions to the folder (this can happen if you attempt to directly save changes to the 'Samples'). Solution: use 'File / Save as' to save to a disk or filename that you may write to.

If editing a PostgreSQL database, if on an older version of the database schema, this can be caused by a problematic database index. Contact us for the solution.
