tlTerm Download

Please read these instructions carefully.

Click on the following link to download tlTerm 4.0:

tlTerm_4.0.0.48.exe (10.9MB)

To save the file to your hard disk, click on the link with the right mouse button and select "Save Target As".

Once you have downloaded the file, run it (e.g. by double-clicking on it) to install tlTerm.

Important: You should have administrator rights on the system when installing and when activating.

Activation

Please note that you must install tlTerm on the computer on which you wish to run it. When you first run tlTerm, it will request to be activated on that computer. Click on 'Get Activation Code Online' and enter your 9-digit License Number (that you receive upon purchase) into the form to receive your 16-digit activation code immediately.

Important: You need administrator rights on the system when applying the activation code.

Evaluation

If you do not have a License Number, you can use the application in evaluation mode for a limited time (expires 31 March 2010). At any time, you can purchase a License Number to immediately activate the software and remove all limitations.

If you already have a version of tlTerm 4.0 installed ...

Make sure tlTerm is not running; the installer should then automatically uninstall the older version before installing the new version. (If not, you can uninstall the existing version via "Start/Programs/tlTerm/Uninstall".) Note that if you have existing databases created with tlTerm, they will not be removed while upgrading. Nonetheless it is very strongly recommended that you make backups of your data, including onto a different computer, as a general principle.

DO NOT delete the existing application folder (e.g. under "Program Files") of the previous version.

Re-activation is not required when upgrading (unless upgrading between major versions, e.g. version 3 to version 4).
